Lakers get concerning update on Jarred Vanderbilt

Per Dave McMenamin, Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt was seen at practice on Friday in Denver wearing a walking boot on his right foot.

Head coach Darvin Ham clarified that Vanderbilt has not suffered any setbacks. Vanderbilt wore the boot on the plane and the ride to practice. He remains day-to-day.

This leaves hope that Vanderbilt may be able to return for their first-round matchup against the Nuggets.

During Vanderbilt's absence, look for Darvin Ham to rely on Gabe Vincent and Spencer Dinwiddie’s point-of-attack defense on Jamal Murray.

For now, the LakeShow can hope to compete with Denver, with a possible Vanderbilt return at some point in the series.
